The really good thing about it is that it has an adapter that fits onto the top of the bottle, you then turn the whole unit over and it allows for the wine to pour in and then you have your wine fully decanted. So in fact it does the two operations in one go.
I began researching the different styles when I was working to create my home bar and found this has some great benefits that others don't have.
It's made of thick, quality glass so it's sturdier than others and holds an entire bottle. I don't have to worry about it breaking and losing the contents at the same time. (Now that would be a calamity!)
It was the weight and feel of it that made me go for the Menu because it felt more substantial and looked the part.
With a birthday coming up, I decided to give myself an early present and bought it.
I have been using it for several years now, and I have found that it is not only a great piece of table furniture but also one of the best tools that I use on a daily basis.
It's become my go-to for dinner parties or whenever friends gather. It looks so nice, too. My friends often make a comment when they see it in use.
Once I started using it, I found that there was a definite improvement not only in the taste but also in the aroma.

You can serve it from the carafe or pour it back into the original bottle and serve it from there. If you're having a party you can prepare a number of bottles in advance.
If you have younger wines with a fair bit of tanning this will be great for the flavour.
The one thing that I really liked about this one is that it is so easy to clean. Just put it under a warm tap and let it flush through. If you find that you have left the wine in it for longer than you would have liked to and tainted the glass. There is a pack of very small ball bearings that can be purchased at the time that you buy yours.
This has given me the confidence to recommend it to my friends and family. It is just that good
